Required Education Qualification :
Matriculation or equivalent from any recognized university/institute
i) 2 years work experience in trades (or)
ii) 1 year certificate course from any Industrial Training Institute/ Vocational Institute with at least 1 year experience in trade (or)
iii) 2 years diploma from any Industrial Training Institute in the trade of similar trade.

Selection Process of BSF 2013 : Candidates are selected based on below tests.
Physical Efficiency Test (PET) : Those who qualify the height test will be subjected to 5 km race to be finished within 24 minutes. Original testimonials of the candidates will be checked thereafter and only eligible candidates will go the next step.
Physical Standard Test (PST) : Candidates who are found eligible for screening of testimonies will be screened first for height, chest and weight measurements.
